If you suspect that dyslexia may be the cause of your child's difficulties, answer the following questions to get a better understanding of what is going on.

Welcome to the Reading & Writing Institute. To all readers and writers and their parents who are visiting this website to learn more about themselves and their loved ones and how they process written information we know and appreciate your journey. It is our hope that this site will provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions about how to help yourselves and your children reach their full potential and become independent literate learners for life.

We are privileged to offer a variety of services for those who are either having difficulty with reading and writing, those who excel in Language Arts as well as individuals who seek to improve their skills and reach their maximum potential.

We accomplish this in a program that teaches individuals to be independent literate learners without loosing the comfort and convenience of their existing school and or work environment.  In fact, as part of the remediation process the Reading and Writing Institute can help parents and schools in organizing temporary accommodations for children who are struggling

Our Atlanta based organization has a unique approach that combines extremely accurate diagnosis with student specific curriculum’s, provided by certified teacher / therapists, and supplemented by computer learning, all without disrupting the individual’s regular school or work schedule. Because of the complicated and diverse nature of the way each human being learns to read and write, each student has an individualized learning plan and receives instruction at a ratio of no more than two students to one certified teacher.

At the Reading and Writing Institute we have been successfully treating students for over eight years.  We are thrilled to be offering more services to students and look forward to continuing to grow our program.
