The Dyslexia Institutes of America is a national organization whose sole purpose is to diagnose  and treat dyslexics.  To the dyslexics and parents of dyslexics who are visiting this website to learn more about dyslexia and what can be done to treat it, we know and appreciate your journey. 

Dyslexia can be a complicated subject and dyslexics are as diverse as any group of human beings.  Into this complexity we will try to bring some order.  

It is our hope that this site can begin to give you the information you need to make informed decisions about how to help yourself and your loved ones become independent, literate learners for life.
